I joined Hope for the Afflicted Ministry (HFTA) precisely on the 29th of February, 2020. I was introduced to the ministry by my friend, Mrs Grace Okoli and ever since then I’ve had different encounters that have had positive impact on my life.
Upon joining the ministry, Apostle made me understand that this was a training ministry and I told her I was ready for the task ahead.
My prayer life was at an all time low and I hardly had time to study scriptures but after some period of consistent midnight prayers and study of the word, things began to take a positive turn for me as I regained my prayer life and my personal fellowship with God. I’ve won both visible and invicible battles on my knees on the altar of this ministry and also through corporate prayers with the Apostle. The highlight of my testimony in HFTA ministry was my miraculous exemption from the list of Covid-19 postive patients that were headed for Isolation centre on the 3rd of June, 2020. An emergency prayer was summoned for my case and on getting to the Isolation centre I was told my name was not on the list after being initially called up as one of the positive cases. This particular encounter reaffirmed my believe that God lives with us at HFTA.
In addition to these encounters, I’ve been given ministry responsibilities that I felt initially was too big for me but took them all in faith and was able to achieve reasonable success. Apostle has helped to instill some level of confidence in me, she has thought me responsibility and discipline just like the scripture teaches. I’ve also had opportunity to sow seeds towards hospital outreaches which is one of the pillars of the ministry. This actually gives me a sense of fulfillment finding a platform where I could do the work of my father.
I can say that I’ve never had any cause for regret since I joined this family of believers. It has been a tale of from Glory to Glory and I know that God is set to do more in my life in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
